Maddison's Cafe & Library

The drinks aren't that sweet (tbh I don't like sweet drinks but these ones still needs a tad bit more sugar). I ordered the sea salt latte, the coffee wasn't strong, had a tiny salty aftertaste obviously, I tasted the milk more than the coffee (wish the coffee would be stronger). Also tried the vanilla bourbon milk tea, it was okay, the tea wasn't strong enough for me. The earl grey toast was fluffy, needs more of the earl grey batter (I dunno if it's french toast style or not). Only the surface had the sweet earl grey taste, the inside was just plain bread taste. I feel like you still need to improve your products because everything I ordered felt like they're almost good but still not enough. Ps: not many seating area

You dont have to go to London to experience classic english cafe. We order sea salt coffee, hojicha latte, and pistachio latte. Sea salt coffee is amazing. Romantic and shady place to have intimate dine. Every corner is pretty to be captured.

Maddisons is the humble cafe that I am missing a lot. I am now very jealous of people living around Green Lake area alr. While most cafes could give me just a cup of specialty coffee that I like, their atmosphere is just standard. Maddisons, in my opinion, gave me that cozy vibe that I (and most people) need during my well-deserved holiday. I’d visit this again for enjoying my me time. I came at midday, so not surprised to see all 4 tables were fully occupied, some even with kid. And thanks to its romantic music and the lovely Abigail (the friendly owner’s dog pet), I could distract myself from the crowd easily and enjoyed my sip of iced americano. About the food, I tried both savory and sweet bites. I honestly still cannot move on with the sweet baked earl grey and will def come back for this. It’s a 11/10 if I may exaggerate (or 10/10 for the truth one). Lastly, the coffee itself. Tried their iced americano as my go-to-coffee. The barista was very thoughtful asking if I was comfortable with the new 100% Gayo arabica beans, where I ended up ordering 2 cups. The highlight for me was actually the sea salt latte, which was uniqely pleasant. This is a definitely must-try and decide if that could be your new favourite. Overall, Maddisons was perfect in any aspect during my first 5-hour visit.

Maddison’s Café and Library is a true hidden gem nestled in the GreenLake Shops area. Stepping inside feels like visiting a charming European grandmother’s home, adorned with beautiful ceramics and vintage accessories. The 70s jazz playlist perfectly complements the cozy, nostalgic atmosphere. The food and drinks were delightful, with fair pricing that makes the experience even better. Absolutely loved the warm and inviting vibe - can’t wait to return!
